I did not get a chance to mail this letter while we got to St. John. We are not to sail until tomorrow and are at this hotel at our own expense in the meantime. It is a quaint old town with very steep sheets (about 5° slope towards the water front. I got some pictures but the weather about 7° below it [?], drove us in. I will write to you on board the boat.
