Dear Rea
As promised I am writing you a few lines. I say dew as I have not got much to write about, things are as usual around the camp, but we are soon pulling out of here & perhaps when we get to England I will have more to write about well we had a pretty good trip back to camp. I was up to Olive Ave to [?] [?] [?] your Uncles Mell & Walter & family, they are all fine & were glad I called to see them before I left Canada. [?]
Our Train has not leave Toronto until 11 PM. Friday night, after me hurrying work to the station to catch the 10 PM. That was when it was suppose to leave well it meant we had to burn [?] the slang, around the station for an hour. Then when the train did arrive, be my chance & I couldn't get a seat, but managed to get a berth on a pullman which was much better as we were [?] tired, [?] is right, we three all [?] [?] into the berth & crawled in on the top & were dead to the world, until the porter pulled us by the leg at [?] fall about 5am in the morning & told us it was time to get up, I felt like fighting him with a boot, but we had to get, as they take the pullman car off at [?] falls.
We got back to camp by about noon, & the afternoon we all had to go out for a ride, & believe me some of the boys didn't feel much like going riding, sleeping would be more in their line. Oh I felt at right now Rea I say a few lines if I wrote any more I will have to call it a letter. If you would like to write me, do right away as we are moving out of this camp on the 25 Friday but your letter could be forwarded on.
I can't give you the address as I don't know where we are going but, I think we will be somewhere in Canada for about a week yet. Oh yes Rea I was just thinking, I haven't got a picture of you, & I so would very much like to have one to put in my pocket book as I have most all my friends & you folks have got my pictures so if you have one please send on, that's if you would like me to have it. Now I'm going to quit as it is dark & can't see what I am writing, so you'll have to excuse this writing.
