Description

The ME Super is a classic 35mm SLR and a significant upgrade over the original Pentax ME. Its primary distinction is the addition of a manual exposure mode, operated via two small push-buttons on the top plate—a departure from the traditional shutter speed dial. It features a highly regarded, large, and bright viewfinder with a 0.95x magnification. The camera uses the Pentax K-mount and features an electronically controlled vertical-run metal focal-plane shutter capable of speeds up to 1/2000 of a second. It is known for its incredibly compact and lightweight chassis, making it one of the smallest full-featured SLRs of its era.
