Description

An ultra-compact 24mm film camera utilizing the Advanced Photo System (APS) format, which was introduced in 1996 as a major technological upgrade for amateur photographers. This model features a fixed-focus Fujinon 23mm lens and a fully automated "drop-in" film loading system, which eliminated the common 35mm issue of loading errors. Historically, the Endeavor 10 is significant for its role in the "information exchange" (IX) process; it recorded data magnetically on the film base, allowing users to select between three print formats—Classic (C), High Definition (H), and Panoramic (P)—after the shot was taken. Because APS negatives are returned inside their original protective cartridges, this camera represents a specific era of "carefree" photography where the user never touched the film leader. Production of this model ended around 2004 as the industry pivoted rapidly toward digital compacts.
