Dura was a smaller American flashbulb manufacturer that competed in the general purpose flash market alongside the dominant GE, Sylvania, and Westinghouse brands during the 1950s. These clear medium-format bayonet-base bulbs were designed for use with standard reflector flash guns across a wide range of amateur and professional cameras. The cardboard tray packaging with individual bulb slots is typical of the era and the bold yellow and black Dura branding has a distinctive mid-century character. A complete unused set in original packaging from a lesser-known manufacturer makes this a particularly interesting find for collectors of photographic ephemera.
