IconicDescription
This is a German-made stereo camera designed to take 3D photographs. It features two identical Duplar f/11 lenses spaced approximately at the average distance between human eyes. When triggered, the shutter captures two nearly identical images from slightly different angles. When these side-by-side prints are viewed through a stereoscope, the brain merges them into a single image with perceived depth. The "Made in Germany" stamp and the dual red windows on the back (for tracking frame numbers on the paper backing of 120 film) are characteristic of this era of European camera production.Category
