InterestingDescription
This precision-cut stainless steel template is a modern recreation of the vintage Leica ABLON. It is an indispensable tool for owners of bottom-loading rangefinders like your Leica IIIf. Because these cameras lack a back door, the film must be "blind loaded" from the bottom. Modern 35mm film leaders are too short and will jam the delicate internal gears; this template allows the photographer to precisely cut a 10cm "long-tail" leader, ensuring the film follows the correct path around the take-up spool and through the film gate.Category
