Description

This GAF 100-capacity rotary tray was the industry's answer to the Kodak Carousel. While Kodak dominated the market, GAF (who also produced Anscochrome film) created a robust ecosystem of projectors that used these specific trays. This unit holds up to 100 slides in a vertical orientation. Unlike the Kodak trays which "drop" slides via gravity, many GAF projectors used a mechanical arm to pull slides from the side or top of these trays. This artifact is notable for its excellent condition and the presence of its original high-contrast red retail box, which features a graphic silhouette of the tray itself.
