Description

The Kodak Advantix F300 is a compact, entry-level camera designed for the Advanced Photo System (APS) format, which was introduced in the late 1990s to simplify film loading and allow for multiple print formats (Classic, Group/HDTV, and Panoramic). This model features a fixed-focus Ektanar lens and a built-in automatic flash. It is housed in a champagne-silver plastic body with a sliding lens cover that acts as the power switch. While the APS system featured advanced technology like "Magnetic I/O" for storing exposure data on the film itself, the format was short-lived as digital photography rose to dominance. Today, this camera serves as a physical record of the final major consumer film format before the digital revolution, though it is difficult to use practically as APS film production ceased in 2011.
