RelicDescription
The Brownie Fiesta is a plastic-bodied snapshots camera that marked a transition in Kodak's design language toward the modern "Instamatic" look of the 1960s. It features a two-tone gray and blue plastic chassis with a clear plastic front plate over a decorative silver "pebble" grain pattern. It is an extremely simple tool, lacking any exposure adjustments and utilizing a fixed-focus lens designed for 127 roll film. This model was intended to be a cheap, easy-to-use family camera and was often sold in "outfit" kits that included a clip-on flash holder. Its square, compact profile and lightweight construction made it a predecessor to the incredibly successful 126 cartridge cameras that would eventually render the 127 roll film format obsolete for the average consumer.Category
