Description

A pioneering consumer digital camera from the mid-1990s. It features a fixed-focus lens, a built-in flash, and a small color LCD for image playback. The DC25 captured images at a resolution of 493 x 373 pixels and was the first digital camera to support removable CompactFlash storage media. Released in 1996, the DC25 was one of the first consumer digital cameras to feature a built-in color LCD screen on the back for reviewing images. It was also notable for being the first camera to utilize the then-new CompactFlash (CF) card slot for expandable storage, a standard that would dominate professional photography for the next two decades.
