Description

The Kodak Duaflex II is a "pseudo-TLR" because while it has two lenses, they are not geared together for focusing; the top lens simply reflects a bright image onto the large overhead viewfinder. This specific model features the Kodet lens, which is a fixed-focus meniscus lens, making it very simple to operate for the average consumer. It was designed to use 620 film, which is the same width as 120 film but on a much thinner metal spool. A key design improvement of the "II" version over the original Duaflex was the addition of a double-exposure prevention mechanism.
