Description
Kodak T-MAX 100 represents a fundamental shift in black and white film engineering. Introduced in 1986, T-MAX used Kodak's revolutionary T-grain (Tabular grain) emulsion — flat, tablet-shaped silver halide crystals that lay parallel to the film surface, capturing more light per crystal and producing dramatically finer grain than conventional emulsions at the same speed. The result was a 100 ASA film with grain approaching much slower specialty stocks. The yellow NOTES panel on the label provided a writeable area for photographers to record exposure and development data directly on the canister. Still manufactured today.
