IconicDescription
This was Kodak's entry-level instant camera, originally priced at $40 to undercut Polaroid's more expensive models. Unlike motorized Polaroid cameras,, the Handle required the user to manually turn a hand crank to eject the film. In 1986, following a massive patent infringement lawsuit won by Polaroid, Kodak was forced to stop all instant film production and pay a settlement of nearly $1 billion, making these cameras non-functional relics of a defunct format.Category
