The Nikon D300s was the ultimate professional-grade DX (APS-C) sensor camera of its time, serving as an incremental but vital upgrade to the original D300. It introduced dual card slots (CF and SD) and 720p video recording to a body that was otherwise identical in its "bomb-proof" magnesium alloy construction and 51-point AF system. For years, it was the preferred body for wildlife and sports photographers who wanted the "extra reach" of the 1.5x crop factor without sacrificing the rugged build of the D700/D3 series. This unit is perfectly paired with the 35mm f/1.8G DX lens—the definitive prime for this sensor size—and shows the classic professional wear, including a scratched BM-8 screen protector, consistent with the rest of this hard-working Nikon collection.Category
