Description

This was one of Olympus's first consumer digital cameras and was considered a, high-end choice when it debuted for around $800. It features a 0.81-megapixel CCD sensor (1024 x 768 resolution) and a fixed 36mm f/2.8 lens. Because it lacks a memory card slot, photos must be downloaded to a computer via a slow serial cable -a process that can take over 10 minutes for just 6MB of data. It is notoriously power-hungry, requiring four AA batteries to operate.
