Description

The Model 405 is a legendary piece of professional utility gear. It was designed to allow 4x5 view camera photographers (using cameras like a Graflex or Sinar) to shoot smaller, cheaper 3.25 x 4.25 inch "Packfilm" instead of the massive 4x5 single sheets. Much like the Hasselblad PolaPlus we looked at earlier, this was primarily used for exposure and lighting tests. It features a specialized snout that slides into a standard 4x5 Graflok back. This unit is a "full-set" artifact, complete with the iconic rainbow-stripe retail box and the original instruction manual.
