Description

Sylvania's Blue Dot AG1B flashbulbs were among the most widely used single-use flash bulbs of the 1960s and early 1970s, compatible with a broad range of amateur cameras. The blue coating on the bulbs was designed to balance the color temperature of the flash for use with daylight-balanced color film, - a simple but effective solution before electronic flash became standard. AG1B bulbs were tiny bayonet-base bulbs used in cameras with built-in flash guns or small flash attachments. These are now entirely obsolete but remain a charming and authentic artifact of the consumable photography supply market of the era
