Baltimore Album quilt hand appliquéd and hand quilted. The quilting is all extremely even with about 9 stiches per inch. It uses a single cotton, white thread. The quilting itself is a grid pattern about 1/2'' to an 1'' apart. It also incorporates inking and embroidery throughout.
There is a 1/4'' white applied binding with mitered corners. This matches the backing, which is a solid, white, cotton fabric.
Thin batting of unknown material, but probably a cotton polyblend.
It used new/purchased fabric.Context
