This quilt features 12 full Mariner's Compass blocks and 18 half/partial blocks. Each block features a turkey red print and fussy cut centers. There is sashing composed of a blue floral Chintz fabric, which is also included in the border. The entire back is Chintz fabric as well. The entire quilt is hand quilted with singular white cotton thread and arranged into circular lines/echo quilting design.
The binding a yellow synthetic fabric, which is applied by machine. It was likely added later, after the quilt was made or could have been replaced.Collection
