This quilt has a marshy green border and hexagon flower fabrics.
Flowers of hexagons are made with white centers, plain row, and then a row of printed fabric with white fabric surrounding each. Hexagons are 1.5'' across.Context
This was quilted between the years of 1935 and 1953 in Culpepper, Virginia. It was described as a "true test of endurance". The green of the quilt represents grass and the red for brick to create the feeling of a walkway through a garden.Collection
