Description

Pieced quilt with white foundations and bubble-gum pink fabric. Quilting includes wreaths and swags.

Context

While the maker is unknown, the pattern was developed during the Revolutionary War period to honor the colonists' Pine Tree flag. It is a difficult pattern to execute with fabric due to the many triangles. According to the donor, this quilt was from the Mid-Atlantic.
