An album style quilt featuring 12 different floral applique blocks of varying sizes, each framed with a 0.5'' gray sashing. Between all of the hand appliqued blocks is a 9-patch style squares that ranges from 2-3.75''. A single, 7'' appliqued border features swags and flower blossoms. The binding is 1/4'' gray/brown fabric applied with straight edges and mitered corners.
Hand embroidery on butterflies and flowers/leaves. The quilt is machine quilted with cream colored thread. There is a mix of swirl designs and outline quilting in the applique sections and crossing diagonal lines in the tile section.
The backing is one piece of cotton fabric. The batting is a medium cotton.Acquisition
