Description

56 appliqué block quilt top with ten names. The appliqué patterns use printed fabrics rather than solid fabrics. There is 2 1/2'' sashing around each block done in a blue print fabric. Plain white squares at each corner are each 2 1/2''. The sashing continues as a border. The quilt top is made out of new/purchased fabric.

Context

Speculation as to why this quilt top never received a backing is because the occasion as to its creation did not occur, such as a wedding being called off. As such, the top was packed away and was unused.
