Vibrant kaleidoscopes made with the Plate pattern appear to float on a curved pieced background mimicking the night sky. The Dresden Plate blocks are appliqued on-top of strips of pieced outer space (dark blues and starred fabrics) fabric.

1/4'' applied binding with squared corners using a blue print fabric. The back is composed of 2 strips of printed cotton dark blue fabric with gold stars, applied horizontally. The batting is medium thickness and made out of cotton.
The entire quilt is heavily quilted by machine using single, cotton, blue thread. The background features a squiggly continuous line with outline quilting over the Dresden plates and appliqued by hand. *one block contains embroidered embellishments.Context
