Walter McArthur [20 April 81] Walter A. McArthur, Capt., USMC (Ret), 86, of Quantico, died Monday at Potomac Hospital. He is survived by a brother, Paul McArthur of Macon, Ga.; and one nephrew, William McArthur, also of Macon, Ga. Capt. McArthur was a member of the Buck Keyes Post 28, American Legion, Dumfries, for over 54 consecutive years and also a member of the Marine Corps League. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cun- ningham-Mountcastle Funeral Home in Woodbridge where the funeral is scheduled Thursday at 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Obituaries Archie Sauls [5 Mar. 81] Private funeral services took place today for Archie Len- ward Sauls, 67, of Triangle who died Wednesday at his home. He is survived by two sons, Kenneth A. Sauls of Alexandria and Keith L. Sauls of Olney, Md.; and two grandchildren. He had been resident of the area for 40 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or a favorite charity. Arrangements were handled by the Cunningham- Mountcastle Funeral Home in Woodbridge. Christopher Jones [24 Feb. 81] Christopher Jones Sr., 81, of Dumfires died Tuesday at Fairfax Hospital. He was husband of the late Eva L. Jones and is survived by three daughers, Irene Hill of Peoples, Ohio, Margaret Brumbar of Garrisonville and Phyllis Pennington of Catharpin; three sons, Christopher Jones Jr. of Woodbridge, John Stanley Jones and Sam Jones, both of Dumfries; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Cunningham-Mountcastle Funeral Home, Woodbridge. where services will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Pohick Church cemetery, Lorton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
