POTOMAC NEWS, Wednesday, February 7, 1973, Page A-6 Obituaries John Eby dies; area civil leader member of Perpetual Savings and Loan, director and founder of the State Bank of Prince William and a member of the board of directors of Potomac Hospital. Directors of the three boards served as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Eby was a member and past chairman of the Prince William Republican Party, member of both the Eastern Prince William and Fredericksburg Chambers of Commerce and of Mason Lodge 215 of Silver Spring. He was a graduate of Drayer College of Accountancy, Washington, D.C. A native of Charlestown, West Virginia, Mr. Eby had been a resident of Virginia since 1945. He owned Austin Farms in Stafford County from 1945 to 1955, at which time he moved to Prince William County. He has been in real estate and insurance business since 1951. Mr. Eby is survived by his wife, Hazel, daughter Jerrilynn, son Dr. John L. Eby, a dentist in Roanoke, a sister, Mrs. Stanley S. Boone of Irvin, Tenn., and granddaughter, Elizabeth. Memorial Contributions may be made to Potomac Hospital or Aquia Restoration Fund.
