Sir,
I with it was in my power to give you a more favorable need than the following of your servant (?).
After affiliating himself from you at Dumfries (as I believe my Nephew had already informed you) he came here and remained quietly nice the 10th; when being informed by some gentlemen from Baltimore that a Racket from that place was on the point of jailing for (?), I front him under the case of a very (?) oversear to be shipped from that place. (?) a friend of mine in the town to onsafe a package. I to provide everything for him on ship load, that was necessary. When they remained at Baltimore, unfortunatley the (?) was have (?) (?) It became necessary therefore to commit him to good for security: but before this could be effected, he took advantage of a favoritable moment I made him speak.- diligeant, but inaffactuate, (?) was (?) (?) and it is support his object is Philadelphia.
The gentleman to whose care I sent him has promised every endevour in his power to apprahand him, but it is not safe to do this where there are (?) who had gather and facilitate an (?) than apprehand a run-away.- I hope your Journey was not much incommanded by this incounter stop of your waiter with sentiments of great (?)
