Biography
Richard Bird's extensive training and education testify to his formidable technical ability. He received an Associate of Arts degree from Ricks College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising Design and Illustration from Utah State University, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Watercolor from Brigham Young University. Bird has also studied at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah; the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles; and studied with internationally known watercolorist Milford Zornes. His work has appeared in newspapers and magazines throughout the United States. For many years, Bird taught Advertising Design and Watercolor at Ricks College, now Brigham Young University-Idaho.
