Biography
Born in Woodville, Idaho, Homer grew up in eastern Idaho and graduated from Shelley High School. Upon marrying Albert Earl Homer in San Diego, California, she resided in San Diego for two years before moving to Los Angeles where she lived for 36 years. She then lived in Grants Pass, Oregon for 14 years before returning to eastern Idaho for the remainder of her life.
Homer was a professional artist who taught art at her studio in South Gate and later at the senior center in Idaho Falls. She was president of the Art Association in South Gate and in Josephine County in Grants Pass. She was a member of and held leadership positions in the Eagle Rock Art Association in Idaho Falls. She expressed her love of nature and the beauty of the world around her through her art.
