Born in 1980, Austrian artist Anemona Crisan’s work revolves around the topics of body, architecture, and technology. Her often androgynous, stereotypical figures are covered with plastic structures, permeated, threatened, and protected at the same time. Crisan studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Art History at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. She currently works and lives in Vienna.
