Biography
Buck McCain is a fifth generation cattle rancher from southern California. McCain started painting in college while he was studying pre-med, when his art professor encouraged him to pursue art. In 1976 he was also encouraged by Ernest Berke, a prolific sculptor of the American west, to try sculpting. This began his sculpting career. McCain takes inspiration from his home and his time as a cattle rancher.
