Biography
Jan Herring was a protégé of Fredric Taubes, a noted artist in the 50s and 60s. Herring painted in the classical glaze technique, which she introduced to Idaho Falls artists when she taught workshops in the 60s. Blue Vase comes from the collection of Ed Schroeder, a longtime friend of Herring's.
