Biography
Long-time Idaho Falls resident Colette Brooks received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and sculpture from Mount St. Mary's College and her Master of Fine Arts from Idaho State University. She began her own business working as an art instructor for a local frame shop. She eventually worked for a California design/home building firm painting decorative pieces for model homes. She also taught drawing, color theory and painting through Community Education in Idaho Falls for fifteen years. She is currently the owner of Collette & Paintbox in Bozeman, Montana where she specializes in painting furniture with custom Old World finishes.
