Biography
Born in Idaho Falls, Ina Oyler attended Idaho State College (University) where she studied art and received a certificate in teaching. She also studied with art professors from the University of Idaho and Utah State.
As one of the founding members of the Eagle Rock Art Guild, Oyler was well-known for her oil paintings of the Tetons. In addition to teaching school in Swan Valley, she taught art workshops in the region for many years.
She was full of energy and enjoyed art, crafts, music and dancing. She and her husband, Robert (Bob) Oyler loved to travel the world together and are the parents of two sons. Oyler passed away in Sandy, Utah on March 16, 2013 just two months shy of their 66th wedding anniversary.
