Biography
As a native of Southeastern Idaho, Gary Lords spent much of his youth on the mud flats and backwaters of the Snake River. A favorite subject for Lords was the wildlife found in the wet marshlands where he captured the subtle quiet moods of nature. The challenge of working with watercolor fascinated him as he expressed his feelings in the subjects he painted. Lords also photographed and sketched ducks, pheasants and other wildlife found in the Northwest.
