Biography
Beth Griebenow was born in Oregon and has been a longtime resident of Idaho Falls. As an active member of the Eagle Rock Art Guild for many years, she has served as president among other positions on the board.
Griebenow was one of 51 artists representing each state and Washington DC at the “Very Special Arts Gallery” in Washington DC in 1993. Her painting Cleo’s Garden was chosen for the 1994 Art Guild Sidewalk Show Poster and,
again in 2001, her painting My Passion was chosen for the poster award. Griebenow was the first artist to receive this honor a second time.
Griebenow’s work has been frequently juried into the Idaho Watercolor Society Annual Exhibit. Her desire to continue growing her skills with watercolors and drawing prompted her to study with nationally and internationally known artists. Griebenow and her husband Merle had four sons.
