Biography
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Linda Carlson was an active member of the Idaho Falls art community for more than twenty-five years. In addition to serving on the board of directors of the Eagle Rock Art Guild and significantly contributing to the success of The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho during the early years, Carlson spent the last 15 years serving as the regional representative for the East Region of the Idaho Watercolor Society. She is currently a member of TAM’s Museum Artist group, the Idaho Falls Arts Council, and a merit member of the Idaho Watercolor Society.
Carlson is the mother of four wonderful children and grandmother of 13 even more wonderful grandchildren. In 2022, she and her husband of 56 years, Doug, moved to Cary, North Carolina to be closer to family.
