Biography
Linda Pound was born and raised in Western Colorado. She attended Mesa Junior College and Colorado State University, studying art and architecture. She continued her studies with various local and nationally recognized artists after moving to Idaho in 1978.
Pound was among a core group of dedicated artists and community members responsible for making the dream of an art museum along the river into the realization of The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in 2002. She has been a member of a local co-op gallery, held offices in various arts organizations in Idaho Falls, and was also a picture framer for many years.
She enjoys bright colors, shadows, and designs which give her work dimension. She continues to mentor others who have a desire to learn about watercolor and colored pencil.
