Chinese dark brown stoneware teapot, probably 20th century, of low rounded form with short angular upswept spout, circular loop handle and fitted domed cover surmounted by a modeled angular finial. The undecorated body has a dark brown smoothed or polished surface with areas of handling wear and uneven sheen. The underside of the vessel and underside of the cover appear unmarked. Maker and precise place of manufacture are unidentified. Although the vessel belongs broadly to the tradition of Chinese unglazed stoneware teapots, presently available evidence is insufficient to attribute it specifically to Yixing or to a particular zisha potter or workshop.

Note
Retained as part of the complete collection inventory but excluded from the curated zisha/Yixing group. The absence of marks alone does not determine attribution; exclusion is based on the combined lack of maker/workshop documentation, uncertain clay/origin, comparatively modest workmanship, and absence of other supporting attribution evidence.
