Chinese carved bicolor ornamental stone group depicting a cluster of peaches among overlapping leaves and stems, worked in the round and polished overall. The carver has incorporated the natural cream-white, pink and reddish color zoning of the stone into the composition, emphasizing individual fruit and botanical elements. The peach is a traditional Chinese auspicious emblem associated with longevity and immortality. Pierced for suspension and fitted with a cord and tassel.
