Description

Chinese carved variegated ornamental stone auspicious group, prominently modeled with a large peach surrounded by additional fruit, foliage and probable lingzhi forms. Carved substantially in the round with selectively undercut leaves and polished surfaces. The cream and pale yellow stone contains peach-pink and reddish coloration deliberately incorporated into the composition. Two vertical lines of Chinese inscription appear on the central face.
