GL3814Description
Item 14 of 24, part of a specialized Chinese Zodiac / Auspicious Animals set. In Asian art, an elephant with its trunk raised always channels pure Yang energy (bringing good luck, joy, and triumph). Because both figures (with item # GL3804) share this positive trunk placement, the glassblower differentiated their cosmic energy through their front-leg positioning. This is the Yin Elephant (Steady Anchor). The front leg drops straight down into a vertical pillar stance, while a deep, heavy dark-chocolate swirl dominates the flank and hindquarters, representing Yin stability, endurance, and quiet strength.Type of Sculpture
