Item 9 of 24, part of a specialized Chinese Zodiac / Auspicious Animals set, this traditional Rat is a low-slung, long-snouted small mammal from the zodiac cycle. This represents a classic Yin posture. It sits low to the ground with its tail curled safely inward toward the rear flank, sniffling upward slightly but keeping its body compact and self-contained to represent defensive awareness.Type of Sculpture
