The "Heron" is a 15' cedar strip, 1950 Link Manufacturing Co. runabout.
The Link brochure describes the "Heron" as, "...the choice of those who require an exceptionally large and seaworthy utility or fishing boat. It has the same hull as the Widgeon, but is built with a short deck and is supplied at the regular list price with either four full cross seats or three full cross seats and two rear side seats. Seat backs are also included for the two centre seats. With its freeboard of 22" and its high riding qualities the Heron can carry enormous loads in absolute safety and dryness and yet fine rates of speed can be obtained with motors from 5 to 25 HP."Collection
