The 1947-48 basketball season topped all others int the history of Minooka Community High School. The Indians had a season's record of 23 wins and 4 loses, the best showing Minooka High has ever made. The losses were to Coal City and Serena in regular scheduled games, to Newark in the annual Holiday Tournament at Yorkville, and to Streator in the championship game of the Regional Tournament.
