Pembroke, Maine
One of two late 19th, early 20th century glass cabinets full of taxidermied birds. The cabinets were long housed at the Crescent Lodge #78 Masonic Hall in Pembroke, Maine. When Crescent Lodge merged with the St. Croix Masonic Lodge #46 in Calais, Maine in 2020, they sold their Masonic Hall building in Pembroke and transferred the. two cabinets to the Pembroke Library where they remain. The birds in the cabinet are all found in the Pembroke region. It is not known who may have been the taxidermist of the birds.
