Inscribed: "Handicap Golf Tournament, Campobello, N.B., Aug. 15, 1898. Won by Sarah N. H. Hubbard. Presented by Mrs. Travis Cochran." Sarah Nourse Henshaw Hubbard (1869-1906) was the wife of Gorham Hubbard who had built Hubbard Cottage on Campobello Island, New Brunswick in 1892. The cottage is now part of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. "Gorham Hubbard married in March of 1891 to Sarah Nourse Henshaw. After their marriage, they made 210 Beacon their home. Sarah (Henshaw) Hubbard’s sister, Annie Henshaw, lived with them during the 1891-1892 winter season. ... Sarah Hubbard died in September of 1906."
