Description:
Eastport Harbor, Maine. Eastport is often called the “jumping-off place” of the United States. This not quite correct, however, except inasmuch as one jumps off there to go to some of the most delightful spots to be found in the world, and indeed, there are few points better calculated to serve as headquarters for lovers of grand coast scenery than this oily, sardine-packing little town. The etching represents the long wharf where passengers take the packet for Grand Menan and St. Stevens.
