WARREN HALL.
John Gleason built this two and one-haif story brick building in 1827. It was named after General Joseph Warren, who was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill. The building is made of bricks from the Perry Brick Yards, and shows Greek Revival influence with its distinctive pediment and gable end facing the street. The first floor of the building was used as a schoolroom until the construction of the Clark School in 1952. Warren Hall was used by the town for meetings until the late 1920s and was sold by the Selectmen in 1953 to private individuals. AFN
